Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing the JAPANESE office of the Company.
- Co-creating and implementing an e-commerce development strategy for JAPANESE markets.
- Negotiating with potential partners. Executing agreements.
- Co-developing and implementing solutions to achieve project KPIs: sales plans, profits, traffic, conversion rate etc.
- Managing project business processes: В2С customer service, online product management, content management, online marketing, logistics, and delivery.
- Co-managing projects to improve technical solutions and optimize processes (with IT managers / developers).
- Developing and implementing a marketing calendar and promo plans to achieve high sales.
- Coordinating and monitoring seasonal procurement for e-commerce. Developing the product mix.
- Recruiting personnel. Coordinating all administrative issues.
- Developing analytical reports.
- Developing logistic solutions for e-commerce across JAPAN.
- Finding and assessing carriers, executing transportation contracts.
- Developing a warehousing strategy.
- Monitoring logistics / warehouse activities.
- Taking and monitoring steps to increase customer satisfaction in the В2С environment.
- Participating in negotiations with e-commerce marketplaces.
We are looking for a candidate with:
• a college or university degree,
• 3+ years of managerial experience, preferably as [Branch] Office Head,
• experience in running a team of 10+ people,
• understanding of logistic and procurement processes,
• understanding of the Japanese mindset,
• fluent English and Japanese.
